I have a geforce fx5200(49c) ddr 128mb graphics card. About a month ago I I bought this computer and everything worked fine. I upgraded the Xp home version of windows to XP Professional and my graphics drivers are gone. I don't know what driver I need?? I went to nvidea got the forceware 81.85 driver but I get a error when I try to estup this driver Im pretty sure its the wrong one even though other fx5200's are on the compatibility list. It says that the drivers are incompatible with the systems hardware. So I've got no games?? Can anyone help me??

Service Pack 2? this morning I went to turn on the computer and it won't work in windows, After refering to scott muellers book I suspect It might have something to do with safe mode but I can't do anything in windows I can't see anything after the XP loading screen. Don't know what to do. Tried to activate VGA mode in advanced options but nothing happens.

Nathan, what is the original error message? Did it say something like 'while accessing CONFIGMG?' or system halted? When your system comes up, keep pressing F8 (or right after the 1st LOGO appears) unitl the dos comes up to take you to safe mode.
