I own a Gforce 2 MX 400 Video Card and once in a while the left side of the screen get distorted. It only happens when i press the start button and the icons are all distorted. Can any one tell me if expenienced the same and what is causing this.

It sound like the refresh-rate / screen size is incorrectly set. Try lowering the res a bit [the next one down]. I don't think it will make any difference, but try getting the nividia detonator drivers [www.nivida.com]. Failing that, use powerstrip [download from download.com] to alter the adpter settings to move to the right, then adjust the monitor to the left [I endorse powerstrip by the way; if you ever want to do anything to your monitor / graphics card, use this; it is very good, although do use with care]. pal it s sound like a monitor problem like a bad brand go for the specs of the monitor if have .27 buy a .25 or less but first sheck the voltage in your house
