Hi I recently upgraded my system to win xp and downloaded a modem driver from the conexant website as my previous driver wouldn't work with xp. However even though the driver works now I have a problem with the modem noise. I tried to turn it off with the speaker volume in the control panel but that doesn't seem to work. I have a generic softK 56 (conexant) internal modem.Please help me with this coz the noise is a major nuisance.Thanx so much :)
