I bought a used Gateway laptop from a bankruptcy sale, (Bugle Boys). I formatted the hard drive and am now trying to locate the drivers for the Audio, Video and Modem on a Solo 2550. Gateway, of course, told me to eat s**t. Can anyone help?

I'm in your same boat. Bought a Solo 1150 without a hard drive and need the drivers. Gateway told me to blow off also. Have you found them anywhere?

i recently got my computer from my sister, its a gateway 400c, 400mhz celeron,64ram and so on and it was really messed up so i formated the harddrive, used the retore disk and reinstalled windows 98se, but now im having trouble finding a driver for the video
it wont let me change the resolutions on my monitor and only has 2 or 16 colors instead of the 256 colors. how can i fix this problem ? oh and i tried updating but it always says i have the recommended driver already installed

Many of these drivers can be found on Gateway's Japanese website. Try here:
