Hello

I need help in forcing drivers to install.
The problem is i have Logitech G1 mouse and its the same optics and electronics as Logitech MX510. The problem is that there are no drivers for G1. When i try to install drivers from MX510 it says that no drivers in this location (i tried manualy chose inf from extracted MouseWare from logitech MX510) I know thats its the same mouse and i need to force these drivers to install... Is there anyway to change some (USB\VID_046D&PID_C01D - ID number of mx510 in inf drivers) and to somehow use number that will fit my G1? I mean repalce this number with the number that fits G1 and force it.
Does it all make sens? I know its a bit strange but i need to do this.

Please can you post any kind of help. If u know beter place to ask about it plz post. If its wrong place plz move it to right one.

Please help
Thanks
Regards
Locaj

Off-site talking about logitech's G1 mouse..

"While the drivers are not mandatory in order for the G1 mouse to work, they do offer some additional capabilities, and you can set a special function for each button. After visiting the Logitech website, I noticed that the latest Logitech Setpoint driver package was available, v2.60.590 (at the time), a massive 47MB download."

So let's try this..

Setpoint

Software Version: 4.00

Abit AN8 Socket 939
AMD64 3000+ @2.0Ghz
Corsair 1Gig Dual-Channel 2x512
MSI Radeon x800 PCI-E
Seagate 160Gig SATA
WesternDigital 80Gig SATA
WesternDigital 160Gig SATA
Antec TC 2.
