I'm using my old Epson Stylus Color 600 and i can't buy a new one now, but the drivers included in windows xp pro are in JAPANESE!!! i don't understand anything in the color/page settings.... i really need help, i think there must be a way to use a custom size paper... but it is in japanesse!! HELP PLZ!!! HELP!!!

Hi Can't imagine why the xp cd installed only one language for a driver. Would have included the link for all available 600 drivers but the only link has a session id !!! in the Url (renders bookmarking a link useless) Anyhow W200/xp driver was not available. Epson sytlus color 600 I was going to reccommend going to Driver Guide, but after some careful examinations found the Eps600.INF or EPS600.INF file was listed for both 98 xp and one file described a file copied from 95. I think they are all the same - ie waste of time getting the file. XP driver advice MS page on supported printers Anyhow some more poking and not getting very far until I came upon a useful page at experts-exchange. link eccs19 suggested a status monitor. I guess this is meant to complement the existing xp driver, but I'm not sure. Epson stylus 800 Anyhow if installing the status monitor fixes things, please reply herre and let any one else is is googling at a later date.
