Not wanting to mix XP NTFS and 98 FAT32 on the same drive, so I tried installing ME on a separate hard drive in my new computer once I removed the XP HDD.
Once it got to the plug and play section I tried to manually install the drivers I downloaded from SIS for display adapter, sound, ethernet etc., but are these drivers only written to work in XP ONLY?

I got errors that popped up on each driver I tried to install, and it wasn't successfull.

Any help getting a WIN 98/SE/ME installed on a newer system would be appreciated.

In another thread on this issue I was directed to lavlys and I installed and ran that but just got system information in order to go to the same websites I already downloaded the drivers that didn't work for WIN ME. I am sure this is possible but how?

Help is needed. I was hoping someone would have done this before. If anyone has please feel free to email me or post here. Thanks.

I forgot to add this is an AMD 64, so I'm not sure if WIN XP is the 64 bit version or not.

If that's the case then I am guessing that these new components won't accept WIn 9x drivers.
