Drivers to enable upgrade ME to XP

I am about to upgrade to XP from ME. I have run a scan on Driver Detective which tells me that there are updates available for 37% of my drivers. I am quite happy to join to enable me to download the updates but it is the other 63% that worry me - are they good drivers or is it that there aren't any updates available. Also, of course will the available updates ensure that everything will run OK when I update to XP. Any advice will be very much appreciated. Thanks.
You would find it easier to undertake a fresh install of XP as oppossed to an UpGrade. XP and Windows Updates have an extensive driver database, just ensure you have SP2 installed before going on the Net.
