I HAVE A GATEWAY COMPUTER MATXSRY KTH E1800 (WINDOWS XP OPERATING SYSTEM) AND A BROTHER MFC 210C MULTIFUNCTION SYSTEM. I CAN COPY, FAX AND PRINT PICTURES,BUT I CAN'T PRINT FROM COMPUTER TO BROTHER. I CALLED BROTHER AND THEY HAD ME RUN A SCAN OF THE USB PORTS AND FOUND I WAS MISSING THE "USBPORT.INF" FILE ON THE COMPUTER. BROTHER SAID TO CONTACT GATEWAY, BUT GATEWAY SOLD OFF THIS SYSTEM TO NPC (WHICH IS NOW BANKRUPT). I NEED TO PRINT FROM COMPUTER TO PRINTER, WHAT DO I DO?????

... all my usb ports work; but I do not have a printer hooked up to this PC... found "USBPORT.INF" on google click "DOWNLOAD" ... copy it to c:\windows\inf ... folder
Summary: hughsung - thanks for the post. I tried the mic without the software first and got what is described at top of this thread. Then as a last resort I installed the software from samson site - it didn't ...
