Says it is compatible with xp bundled drivers but no juice.

Have you tried Canon or a google search? XP may even have the drivers in the data base. Connect the printer to your computer and turn the printer on, when the found new hardware wizard appears follow the prompts to select printer, LPT1 or usb, then select canon, search through the list, i suspect you will find the BJ100 drivers here.
