I have a perfectly good Star Laser Printer which gave v. good service with 3.1 & W 95 but now looks like it must be abandoned for XP - any ideas ? Thanks,

I have problem with installing Win Type 4000 on XP. The instyallation goes smoothly until test print when I get the message that there is cable problem. I have renewed both cables but still no printing. WinType 4000 is so good that I don't really want to abandon it. Does the manufacturer Star Micronics have any help to offer?
Ineed drivers, for some reason after doing a re-load of win98 when I try to load my WinType 4000 gear she says that there is nothingcompatible on my disk...........yet I have loaded it the same way before
