Hey there,
Ive got a Geforce FX5200 128Mb Graphics card on my PC and i accidently changed some settings which disabled my monitor output and connecting the PC to the TV screen wouldnt work either...
Newayz I took the PC to get fixed which it has been but now i realised that my programs which worked b4 now dont (eg: Project64) which claim there is no 3D card.. I checked the Add/Remove Programs and there is no NVIDIA drivers installed nor is there a NVIDIA setting in the Display Properties but yet the monitor is connectd to the card...
My enquiry is if I reinstall the drivers from the NVIDIA website would it revert back to the settings I changed it to in the first place which caused the problem or would it start from scratch and allow me to use those programs again???Thanks in advance

If you use NVidia's own drivers it will revert to correct manufacturer's settings. Just make sure you have removed any traces of old drivers by setting the video driver to standard VGA then restart, let windows detect whatever it likes (as long as it works) & then install the NV drivers.
