I hope this is the correct forum to post this. My new eMachine came with a free trial McAfee Anti-Virus. After the trial period I removed it via Control Add/Remove Programs. Now every time I turn on the computer I get this error..........."an exeption has occured.....New.net Startup rundll32 c:\progra~1\newdot~1\newdot~3.dll,newdotnetstartup All Users HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run I'm sure it's a driver looking for McAfee, but I am at a loss about how to fix this error. All seems to be running ok. I just want to rid the error message and not sure how.
