DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL (tcpip.sys)

December 28, 2012 at 17:06:20
Specs: Windows 7

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (tcpip.sys). This is the error that I get with a BSOD every other day or so. Usually happens when the wifi starts acting up. How can I prevent this from happening?

If you have a third-party firewall installed, uninstall it and check that Windows Firewall is enabled.

Now see if the error still occurs.

If it doesn't occur any more, don't re-install that third-party firewall.
