Help.

I need help. I need a driver for the webcam tcc-303, 300k pixels. It is from Giga Tech.
I lost the driver disc that was included with the webcam.

This is the website:
http://www.giga.com.hk/products/tcc-303.htm

But the driver in their website does not work with my winXP.

If anybody has the same webcam, can you please share the driver.

hello lijierui,

I too faced problems with webcam drivers. What I did was this:
-try the manufacturer supplied driver (bundled or website)
-If that fails then ask windows to search for the driver online when a new device prompt comes.

the last step has always worked for me. If you have not set your preference in installing drivers such that first the driver is checked for online, then do so.

Webcams are not generic devices, yet everyone and his grandmother is making them, most of them borrowing the core logic from some know maker and then putting in their own lens, body etc. Many a times there is a huge driver problem with webcams. (all 3 that i have tried had driver problems) But thankfully when i asked windows to find the driver via windows update, installing it was easy!
(works beautifully with XP, no idea abt previous OSes)

PS: post back abt the status of your problem.

Athlon XP 2000+,
256DDR, 40GB Hitachi 7200rpm, yes, NOT a monstor machine
now can see TV on comp!

Hi,
i have tried to install the drivers from the manufacturer's website but that does
not work.
also tried to let windowsXP search the
web for drivers but did not find any.

I lost the cd that was bundled together
with the webcam that is why i am searching
online for compatible drivers.

i will try other drivers. but up to now
still does not work.
