Hi The generic driver from 98 should be enough. I noticed your message on General hardware forum and see the reason you think you may need a driver. I have seen this before, but unable to remember what exactly was the problem. I strongly believe there is a setting in the bios. If you know how to get into the bios you should have a look. It would also be an idea to post at the General hardware forum your computer/model. This may assist those there to help you.
