Reply: (edit)You just use the basic Detonator driver depending on which operating system you are using. This is the link to the Win 95/98/ME version on NVidia's website. http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=windows9x

Reply: (edit)I installed MS Flt Simulator 2002 and had all sorts of freeze ups , etc . I have A PIII 550 win98se 128 Ram IE6/OE6 and my Graphics card info is nvidia Vanta model nvdisp.drv version 4.12.01.522 (TNT 16 MB AGP Video). My thought was to update the driver but like the Orinal Posters cannot find an exact match. Would Schleeb's reply apply to my case as well ?

Reply: (edit)nVidia's web site is usually the best place to find drivers for nVidia graphics cards. You will see a link at the top of the page that says drivers, then just select your operating system. BEWARE though, that they may not work on your system, and this will cause your computer to go black when you reboot. I had this problem finding drivers for windows 2000 server. What a mess! www.nvidia.com

Reply: (edit)Well this Issue about Gf2MX drivers is actually a well known problem. The Detonator Driver doesnt do a change. in fact, when i installed that nVidea Det. Driv. i got different error messages (on 2000(nt6) and XP(nt6.1)) the only things i found out would help: 1. get a 300W powersupply 2. try different Gf2 drivers, such as: ---> Winfast Gf2MX ---> Asus AGP-V7100 ---> Hercules (if i remember correctly) I wouldnt count on a fixed Detonator driver. In fact, it is said, that there wouldnt be a an updated Gf2MX driver part in the Detonator pagage- since the Gf4 is sold. My Opinion: sell the f***ing Gf2 and get a TNT or better: a playstation 2 :o) wish u luck, nabil

Reply: (edit)I have had problems even with updated drivers but after some tweeking with my ram and processor things seemed to work a little better. I only have one problem left, with Grand Theft Auto 3, but I am not sure if it is a driver issue. I can play the game fine but the dialoge in the game and the menu pages are just colored blocks, I cannot red any words. I would like to try adjusting the game's display settings but I cannot tell what the words are in the menu to do it. Does anyone know if doing this would help or if there is something else I should try. Computer: Athlon XP 1700+ MSI 266A Main Board 256 Mb DDR ram GeForce 2 MX400 64Mb Video
