Dear Sir, I have one Compaq 1220 notebook. I can't use the internal modem for last one week. After that when I plug in one external modem, it is loading the driver for modem but it is not working, showing "modem is not installed, port already open". Actually I have lost my original compaq drivers. Please suggest me - If I load windows 98se, shall I able to work with modem (both internal & external) ?
