In order to run The Sims 2, I need a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter. I have an Nvidia GeForce2 Go card:
Driver: 4/7/04
Version: 5.6.7.3

I went to nvidia.com and tried to install the drivers for "GeForce adn TNT2" and "GeForce Go 7800 GTX". When I ran the setup program, I got "Could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware".

I found one other driver, but the date showed that it was an earlier driver than the one I already had. Otherwise, I can't find the right driver.

Help!
Beth

Oops, forgot to mention that I ran the driver scan program. It thinks that the display adapter is fine. However, it didn't like the YAMAHA Native DS1 WDM Driver under "Sound, video and game controllers". I'm not sure if that would affect the video driver.

Thanks
Beth

Just for the hell of it, I installed the old driver (2001) and now it works. Weird, but I'm not complaining.
