i have a mercury tv tuner card. i had installed the appropriate driver from the mercury site. but when i installed, it says you should have installed direct x 6.0. in fact i have direct x 7.0 on my system. whats the problem>?

I have downloaded the driver from the website twice but it doesn't work and I kept receiving the error msg " Ir..." .The old driver keep giving me the msg "VGA direct draw not installed ..." and full screen not supported . I guess we all fell into the same Trap . This company is making big buck through manufacturing faulty stuff !

everyone seems to have managed to get to the page http://www.kobian.com/support_tvtnr.htm but my browser says the page is not available .. does anyone know of an alternate site to download the mercury tv tuner drivers from .. thanks

Kobian just makes the tuner device itself and Mercury used that on their boards. the MFers (mercury) dont even have a decent website to get drivers from.
How has people's experience been with running the cards (if they worked under win 9X) under XP?

Hi,

I have a fly video tv card and I seem to get the same message to please download a "Direct Draw Driver" ... so does that relate to my graphics card rather than the actual tv card? Do u need any specific graphics card etc?? I've been to the sites mentioned but they dont seem to have what I need,...??
