DFS.VxD device missing

Derek@DeansRV March 1, 2003 at 10:29:56 Pacific
Windows 98 2nd Edition, Pentium 32 MB

During startup, I get an error message reading "Sytsem.ini, device DFS.VxD no longer exists." I followed the directions from a previous post to this forum. Address for that post is, "www.computing.net/drivers/wwwboard/forum/2936.html
I got into my registry and found the vxd.dfs file. It said to delete each "key hit" I got. I am not sure what that means exactly. This is where the registry sent me. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet \Services\VxD\DFS
In that folder were the following
StaticVxD=dfs.vxd
Start=00
NetClean=01
default=(no value set)
Which of these do I delete? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
