I installed DFE530Tx with the latest driver downloaded from DLINK. It doesn't work but it works in the same PC when I install Windows 2000. Who can tell me why? I have Windows 98SE

It's hard to offer help when the nature of the failure is not known.
win 2k handles hardware and resources differently then windows 98. Try removing all added hardware and install the nic first.

I just bought a DFE-530TX but when I tried to install the drivers it didn't go to well... I went about instaling them then it aske dme to insert the Windows 98 Second Edition CD. So I did that but little did I know Windows is EVIL! IT said cannot locate the correct file. I made sure it was looking in the right place but NO! Cannot find the correct file. I've now tried several different windows CDs and none of them have the files that the NIC looks for! PLZ SOMEONE HELP ME! I cannot read this post again so plz e-mail me @ klyne_lomond@hotmail.com
