Pls help: i cannot install operating system in my toshiba portege laptop. it keeps saying: device driver not found. i use external pcmcia cd-rom driver. could u send me a driver to instal the cd-rom drive?

As I understand it CD rom drives do not require drivers.

You may have to change the BIOS to boot from external drive first.

Or download a file that will create a boot floppy from Bootdisc.com, note this download is not what you put onto the floppy, run the download on your / or other machine to create the boot floppy.
