I have been trying to install the Dell 968W printer for months, after many calls to the Dell HELPLESS desk I am still trying. After 10 hours on the phone with them today they basically tell me sucks to be you! The problem started where I would use there setup disk or download the drivers from their website and try to install. Once it got to the plug in your usb cable it would stall and not carry on. I can see my usb cable is working because windows recognizes the add hardware and once it tries to install driver for new hardware it quits. Today finally it showed me a message that a policy on my computer will not allow a NT 4.0 driver to be installed???? ???? I am so frustrated with Dell and have spent so much time trying to install this darn printer that I probably would have been cheaper off throwing it in the bush along with all the ink I ordered and buy a new one and hope there tech support is better. Any suggestions? This printer did work at one time, but when I tried to scan off of it it wouldn't scan....I phoned Dell and they had me uninstall the driver and try to reinstall......and here I sit. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
