deleting old drivers from system 32

I accidently installed new drivers for my ati radeon 9500pro without taking the old ones off...when I uninstalled, it left the old ones on there without any way of uninstalling them...the TV out wont work now :( now I want to delete the old ones(eg.. atitvo32.dll ...etc) from system32 before I try reinstalling the new ones. but everytime I do they magically reapear... is there anyway around this, it's doing my head in...

Bob, just wanted to let you know, I asked a driver question yesterday, and no one responded yet (24 hours ago). If someone should respond to yours, could they also take a look at mine too, it appears about 3 down the list from this one. after researching this myself on many different sites... I've come to the conclusion that I have to disable 'Windows File Protection' before i delete those pesky .dll files, which is apparently not so easy in XP pro. If anybody could explain to me how to do this in simple child like language I would be very gratefull...
