Upgraded from ME to XP. Driver changed to VIA AC'97. Motherboard has Crystal codec.
Does it matter? Sound quality is OK & works, but are specs the same for VIA as Crystal WDM? thx.

This site has a review of a motherboard where it mentions that the AC'97 audio included on the board uses the Crystal Logic SoundFusion codec.

So maybe it is the same as yours.

Take care,

Linda
