I'm using a Samsung laptop with a conexant sound card intergrated. after i upgraded my OS from win98 to Winxp, my sound card could not be found. How can I solve this problem, do i need a sound card driver? where can I get it?

dude or dudette, dont even waste your time looking for a driver because its going to cause you some serious headache... if you are using winamp or media player to play music most of the time, the sound will skip and will never stop to skip. After using a program or game that uses most of your system resources then the sound will start to skip unless you restart the system. But if you dont use heavy programs or comp games then you are fine.
