Technically I own an eMachine T1116 model that came with XP Home edition. I now have windows 98 and XP Pro installed. My XP Pro works fine (display, sound, and MODEM drivers) the problem is that my windows 98 (second edition) dose not find or recognize any of my peripherals. I even tried to setup 98 as the only operating system, but yet the drivers elude me. Can anyone please help me? Please?

O!!!, and Can anyone help me find a conexant Softk56 PCI modem driver for windows 98?

You will need to know what your modem chipset # is then go to the URL below and you will find the drivers for it.

I acually did something similar but isntead of Win98 i used win2000,

Install teh Modem drivers and display drivers from your restore disc

DONT START YOUR COMPUTER WITH TEH DISCS, WAIT TILL WIN98 IS LOADED THEN INSERT TEH DISC WITH TEH DRIVERS THEN SEARCH FOR THE DRIVERS ADN INSTALL THEM, i still haven't found a way to install teh modem drivers for my Modem on win2000
