Comment: Hi all, I have been told that I need to reinstall my video and audio cards to make my monitor display properly after formatting the hard drive and losing my good monitor picture. On trying to use "install new hardware" to do this my computer has a big question mark next to PCI communications device and cannot locate drivers for them, even from the Win98 disc. I have got the back off the computer and am assuming that the green card that the monitor plugs into the back (sort of on the outside of the case of course!) of is the video card? It has a made in China sticker and a barcode sticker with the following numbers: 25009902010442 (and printed very very faint on the card itself is: 9848) A little below that card is what I think must be the sound card as the speaker plugs are at the back of it and it has a barcode sticker with the numbers: 991D61504151 Directly below that card, almost attached to the one above it is another green card, I don't know what that one is, but it has a sticker with a tick on and the numbers N542 and another white sticker with the numbers 171480 with "void if removed" printed below the numbers. Right down the bottom of the computer case is one more green card with a sticker with a tick on it (another) and the number N195 on it.They are the only numbers and words I can find on the cards (apart from the made in China stickers and a few 1998 stickers). Can anyone help me identify these video and audio cards so that I can find drivers somewhere for them? Thanks in advance for any advice!! Barbara ;-)
