Howdo All?
Having major problems installing and running Compaq Sound driver.
No Sound for music etc, have general alert beeps. Sound driver for my PC (Compaq EVO D510 SFF) would appear to be SP27103. However, when i try and install from HP website (or any other that I have tried) error message appears as follows :- The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please try and obtain another copy of this file, verify its integrity, and try again.
I have tried using driver magic to download, and when that attempts update on sound driver, system crashes and will only restart in safe mode.

It seems this is not just a simple sound driver problem. I suspect your system is infected by a virus. Try to use antivirus and thoroughly scan your system. If that won't help try to consider reformatting your drive and reinstalling the operating system as a last resort. For drivers try using driveragent, you can download it here: http://www.driverneeds.net
