CD-roms no recognized

I have 2 cd-roms. One is Sony Cd-Rw crx0811 and one is JLMS DVDROM 166S. Now my 2 cd-roms can read cd's. However, my burning software (adaptec easy cd-creator 4.0) says i dont have a cd-burner. My computer does not recognize my CD-burner nor my DVD-ROm. WHat should i do?
