i recently re-installed windows xp, and since re-installation i think, my cd and dvd roms do not show up under my computer. i don't know a lot about computers, but i think something's wrong with the drivers. i tried uninstalling them and using the wizard to install them again, but when i do, it says there's been a problem with the hardware installation. if anyone could help, it'd be greatly appreciated.

and no, i'm using the add hardware wizard...

Did problems with those cd/dvd roms lead to the reinstall?

Pioneer 106 is a dvd burner? Yes?

What we need is-
C drive/Os primary master ide
cd rom primary slave
Pioneer 106 secondary Ide master
Xtra Hard Drive secondary slave

Jumpers set correctly.
