Restore to the day before she came to visit. Make a "master" administrator user profile, password protected, and dont forget that password. This account NOT for daily use. No one but YOU use that account. Create an account for visitors/inlaws to use. Then create an account for YOU with administrators rights. Use that account for daily whatevers. If either users accounts get foobared, you can always delete them through the unused "master" administrator account then recreate them again.
