I have a old Compaq 860CDS system I had given to me today, I've been working to get it running, and it is, everything except for sound, I have a Soundblaster 16 soundcard (Model CT1770 I think) with a SCSI adapter on it, now the SCSI adapter is working (I'm running Windows 95 on this PC) but the sound, however, is not, the PC originally ran Windows 3.1, but the harddrive was wiped when I recieved it, so I have no idea how to initialize the sound, or how to even get any sound to work off it, I want to keep the SCSI adapter working, as thats what the cd-rom is hooked up to currently, so, does anyone know where I can get the drivers for this, that'll run both the SCSI adapter and soundcard?

You can identify card here:

http://uk.europe-creative.com/support/identifyproduct/

Details of how to configure SCSI here:

http://www.computerhope.com/help/csound.htm

Running the Add Hardware Wizard in Control
Panel should find the Sound Card if it sits
on ISA IRQ5 in BIOS, the BIOS if not
standard will be configured from a SETUP
Diskette.

www.phethean.com/AUDIO/SB16FAM/CT1770.htm

you should be able to manually configure to
make it work in W2K if above does
not work.

I also have a SB16 on my Win 95. Win 95 and most SB are plug and play compatible. Click My Computer > Control Panel > Add New Hardware > Next > Yes , If 95 doesn't find it try it again up to NEXT then choose NO > Sound Video and Game Controlers.

I also found a driver that may be compatible at http://list.driverguide.com/list/company967/index.html
second from the bottom.

Hope this helps!
