CPU/Ram: 500 intel 64meg mem.

i installed my acerview 11d svga monitor on my hp pavilion 6636 and can only display 16 colors. sys model 00101450 6636 03996800059502 main board trigen computer cognac bios phoenix tech. ltd 1.06 do not know vga the monitor did fine on my old acer acros 486 66dx2 at 16 bit please let me know any thing have been searching for proper driver

ok first do you have the proper video drivers installed, or the monitor drivers installed...

right click My computer and open the device manager tab...

Find display + sign and click once
then do the same for the monitor...

Make sure the right ones are there
