Cannot play CDs in my computer

I can't play my cd on my computer any more,don't know what happen,it would play it automatically when inserted, but now my computer does not even show that there is a CD inside

It may be your cd rom or cd rom's cable are faulty. You should insert any another cd in cd rom, if it is detect then your cd rom is fine otherwise your cd rom or cd rom's cable are faulty.
You need to replace your cd rom's cable or cd rom.
