Boot error message with ntkern.vxd

CPU/Ram: PIII 500/512MB

Irecently installed the Dazzle DVC II. Ever since doing so, when booting I get the error message "A fatal exception OE has occured at 0028:C007280D in VXD NTKERN(01) +0000DEID. The current application will be terminated."

Whe I press ENTER as prompted the boot continues and completes.
I do not see the file "ntkern.vxd" in the WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory. Should it be there ?.
Anyone have a fix.

This is a WIndows NT or Windows XP file!
