i'm trying to upgrade my harddisk from 4.3GB to 40GB but my computer cannot identify it.i'm told it has to do with BIOS.my comp details are as follows:

Bios date:10/02/98
Bios type:Award modular bios v4.51PG
Bios ID:10/02/98-I440LX-W977TF-2A69JSMDC-00
Bios Eval:SP-P2LXD Ver:A.3
Chipset:Intel 440EX/LX rev 3
Superio:Winbond 977TF rev O found at port 3F0h
OS:Windows 98 SE
RAM:256MB(2 128MB DIMMS) SDRAM
CPU:Intel cerelon 333MHZ 128KB cache
Motherboard maker:Superpower Co.Ltd
Motherboard:SP-P2LXD Ver:A.3

anyone out there who know how i can solve the problem? thanks
