The driver that microsoft supplies with winXP for ATI Xpert98 graphics card has a bug - when you try to switch your computer to Stanby mode windows xp says that the ATI card prevents it from entering standby mode. Microsoft admits that it is a bug (you can check it's knowledge base) but they say that it is a third party problem, so they are not going to fix it. When I emailed ATI they said: "ATI does not plan to develop XP-compatible software for its Rage Pro range"
Am I trapped here?? I only bought the card a year ago and I dont need to buy a new one! THIS IS A METHOD TO FORCE PEOPLE TO BUY NEW GRAPHICS CARDS!
Is this the way ATI treats it's customers? DON'T BUY ATI!!!
