Comment:

My PC runs Windows XP. Sometimes when I try and start up media packages like mediaplayer or WinTV the error comes up "Display driver stopped functioning" and the display is 'magnified'. When I re-start the system checks the drives, finds they're all OK and informs me the "system has recovered from a serious error". I have ATI display driver Mobility Radeon. What is the problem and how do I stop this occurring?

Try to uninstall/remove all ATI video drivers and install again.
