asus tnt2-u not working in xp

I've tried the 21.83 det driver for xp from nvidia, I've tried the official release driver for win 2000 3.79 from asus alone with the 11.01 beta driver from asus also. None of them are working properly in xp. It installs them properly but when I restart the device manager says its not working properly. Any ideas? Can't live without my accelerator too long.

me it's nvidia riva tnt2 and the windows included driver is really not ok , that make lag every thing ,like is had no acceleration.
I tryed teh last detonator from nvidia and it's all f---ed up

I've got the same problem. Mine is Nvidia TNT2 M 64 and althoug xp has the driver when I am running I explorer,word or things like that the movement of the screen lag. I mean that movement bar is not soft. In the dxdiag windows says that i have not any acceleration(directdraw,direct3D,agp texture) and in my screen properties I have no video adaptor althougt the video adaptor is present in systema/hardware.
