Need help and clarifications on ASUS A7M266-M Mobo drivers update:
System: Windows XP Pro ASUS A7M266-M mainboard CPU AMD Athlon/Duron Chipset AMD 760 (Irongate 4) Northbridge AMD 761 (AMD-761AC1) Southbridge VIA (VT82C686B) Slots AGP 4X, 3 PCI
I have downloaded the latest 'AMD AGP miniport driver' and 'VIA 4in1 drivers'. a) Is there a particular order to follow in installing these drivers ? b) When installing the VIA drivers, should I install the VIA AGP driver as well or is this already taken care of by the 'AMD AGP miniport driver'? c) Is there a way to verify that these drivers (especially VIA drivers) have been successully installed and are being used?
