Can anyone help please? I am trying to install my husbands modem on his win 98se pc. It keeps refusing saying there is a missing amos vxd not found on the installation disk or on windows disk. When I thought I had installed it a blue screen Fatal exception occured at 0028:C16E9DCE in VXD HCFPNP. I now realise its a HSF modem...a conexant that throws lots of offers on the software for different modems. My husband feels sure its a motorola. Still after pointing to motorola internal, hsf win 9x I am still getting this cant find amos.vxd. Can anyone help please? As he hasnt got a modem installed I have to download anything so it would help if it would fit on a floppy. Thanks Missfit
