The CD that came with my Albraton Socket A KX18DS PRO II motherboard apparently does not contain the Primary and Secondary IDE Controller drivers. At least the setup program cannot find them. I have contacted the manufacturer and they do not respond. Can anyone direct me to a site I can download the needed driver. I am running Windows ME. I could not find the drivers at DriverGuide.com. One thought, are drivers needed for the IDE Controllers? If not, how do I get them to be recognized by the system? Thanks

Turns out that I did not need drivers after all. Several days back I happened to notice that the C: drive was using MS-DOS Compatability Mode. After looking for the reason for this I went into the registry and deleted the NoIDE entry in HIKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\VxD\IOS and that alone fixed the compatability problem as well as the IDE Controller problem. Thanks for reading and I hope this will help someone else.
Summary: Me too, I can't understand why Sony dont have this driver or any information about it... WHERE IS THIS DRIVER :-( ? Need for help :-) Thanks ...
