Adding a new hard drive

I'm soon to get a new pc with XP. how can i add my current hard drive to my new PC to give it more space? I also would like to keep all my files on my current hard drive but delete the operating system which is win98? I would both drive to act like one whole drive how can i set that up?

You can add your old HDD to you new pc easy just set your old HDD jumper setting to Slave drive and plug it in the spare cable that the new HDD is pluged into. You can not make the two drives become one drive. Eg a 10Gig HDD and a 20Gig HDD will not give you 30Gig of space. it will only give you a C: and a D: drive.
