I posted this in the xp forum before I saw this one listed. I apologize. I am running windows professional xp 64bit and was looking at a printer-scanner-copier to purchase. Everywhere I looked it did not mention the windows professional xp 64 bit but did mention the Vista 64bit. My question: If the printer will run under Vista 64bit will it work under the windows professional xp 64 bit? If you are wondering the printer is the HP PCS 1510.

Probably not. Even though XP 64-bit drivers can be used on Vista, the reverse is not true unless the drivers are written using WDM. Windows Vista has a totally different print spooler, necessitating new drivers for optimum functionality.
