Yes, in a dual boot scenario, the C: drive needs to be FAT16 max 2GB.

The other alternative is Virtual PC.

Why not just use command or cmd? It is similar to DOS6.x without the choice statement.

I use dos 6.22 with a USB storage disk.
Although my computers will not boot with a USB device
I had to creat a dos boot disk. I also setup windows 3.11
On the same boot disk. Once the boot disk (floppy) was made
I created a CDrom boot image from the floppy disk.
I boot with the CD disk and my USB as my Hard drive.

I installed 6.22/WFW3.11 first on a 2Gb partition and XP Pro next allowing XP the rest of the hdd space.

Works the same with windows 2000.

Download from MicroSoft site VirtualPC for free and run MS-DOS 6.22 inside a virtual machine (no dual bootn needed).
