Both Ghost and Drive Image allow me to create an exact copy of my primary hard drive to my secondary hard drive. But neither one allows me to make an "interim" copy of just those files that have had their archive bit turned on.

I have tried using Xcopy/Xcopy32 to do that job for me, but it appears to have problems in doing the entire job. My conclusion is that Xcopy cannot manage directory paths beyond 66 characters which I believe is the maximum length for DOS.

Can anyone confirm this for me or offer another alternative to making "interim" backups on a Windows 98 system?

Thanks, Dewey Nelson

The maximum length of the Dos command line is restricted to 127 characters.
