Does anyone know of some kind of program for dos or windows that can write apple II disk images to floppy disk?
Thanks.

There is an APPLE FORUM for these questions:
www.jagshouse.com/Macs_and_PCs.html
The link to the Apple software is outdated, you need to search Apple, or do you want us to do that as well.
Hardware, NT CP, now Apple what other shiite is going to be put in this forum????

Roger - please be patient.
At the end of the day we are here to help each other.
I do not see a problem with GUI Mans's post. As I read it, he is asking if anyone knows a *DOS* (or Windows)program to write Apple II disc images to floppies. Surely there is nothing wrong with that.
GUI man, perhaps more information is required of what you are trying to achieve. I note you have not mentioned conversion, which surely is needed at some stage?
Back in the days of steam computing, there where whole libraries of such tools and applications.
On my PC (dos/windows) I use a program called VGA Copy. This creates a single file containing the image of a floppy disc, which is perfect for e-mailing. However when recreating, the output floppy has to be the same format as the input (e.g. 3.5" or whatever)
Good luck - Keep us posted.

I could say something rude but it is Sunday.
The only way to open MAC Disk Images is to
use Stuffit Expander for Windows. Software
like RAWWRITE and WinIMAGE should be able to
write the image providing the MAC will use
1.44MB floppies, older MACs use 800MB
floppies. Therefore that is why this should be in the
MAC forum where people with more experience
of MAC will hang out. This seems logical the Dossers are in DOS
Forum, Unixers are in various Unix/Linux
Forum, Maccers are in MAC forum e

An Apple II is not a MAC. There was once an PC to Apple board. Original 8-bit PC. I believe the board was made by Quadram. This allowed running Apple software on an IBM/compatible. Apple floppies are 5.25 inch.
It would probably be easier to find an Apple II to write the images.

reeware.htmlAs suspected the DOS in MAC Apple II is Apple
DOS, they will use 5.25 floppies or possibly
800k 1.44, it does state one needs a MAC,
therefore yet again not a DOS forum relevent
