I need worperfect printer driver under dos os for hp850c printer. Where I found this driver (if exists)?

Hi, Some years ago I bought my first computer....used. It came with wp5.1. I then bought a printer..... Not knowing any better, I just called the Word Perfect Corporation and asked how I could get the printer files. No,,,,,my copy is not registered! They asked what type of printer and my home address. Within 10 days I had "FREE" printer files sent to me. They also included the exact driver for my make printer " model number " So give them a call. I had the Phone # but have long misplaced it. 411 should get you on the way though. Worth a try.....bet they send you just what you need......and I bet it is still free. Good people at Word Perfect. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but WP Corp. sold all rights of WP to Novell in 1994 and Novell sold WP to Corel in 1997. WP Corp. used to be in Orem, Utah USA but has not existed for years.

In addition, it may have been that easy for you! Or at least in your mind, I did not have a good experience when the crappy corp. of Word Perfect was around. They promised to send one and never did, and never did, and promised nad promised. You get the idea,and that is why they are no more. I don't wonder why, with the wonderful people that used to be Word Perfect and all of their false promises and on and on. Anyhow, that was so long ago that I actually laugh about it now. Screw'em!
